who are you?
Underused Records is an independent record label seeking out shimmering, velvety, heart pounding music with no emphasis on cool fringes or how low you wear your jeans.

why underused?
…. the only thing we would say is “if you shout, you’re out” .. we love all sorts of music but are tired of shouty vocals, and are looking for music that will set our hearts racing and our ears itching..

are you listening?
yes, we’re interesting in hearing your noise, and are looking for more good songs to give a home too. don’t email us MP3s, cos we’ll delete them, but do send links to your myspace / last.fm / website, or contact us and we’ll give you an address to send your CDs tp (which we really would prefer…)

what’s going on?
send us an email with your details and we’ll keep you posted on what’s happening with new releases and other news in Underused Records land

why are you there?
we like CDs – music isn’t ephemeral in our world, and to have is indeed to hold, so where we can, we’ll have CDs available as well as MP3s to download. and we’ll always have a taster track around for any release to whet your aural appetite.
